The state Attorney General’s Office has issued family preparedness and legal resources to assist Haitian and Syrian Temporary Protected Status (TPS) holders following the Supreme Court’s decision allowing the federal government to terminate TPS for immigrants from those countries.
Online resources include an emergency planning guide for parents with uncertain immigration status, which is available online in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, and Simplified Chinese; resources on legal assistance; tips to avoid immigration-related scams; other resources for immigrants in Massachusetts; and immigration guidance for employers.
